    Edward Abramson

   

Rabbi Edward Abramson received rabbinical ordination from Yeshiva University and served as congregational rabbi of a synagogue in Saratoga springs from 1973-1976. He also received a BA in English Literature and an MA in Jewish history from the same university and served as principal at two high schools in the New York area.

In 1983, Rabbi Abramson made aliya with his family and served as the World Union of Jewish Students' educational director in Arad. He moved on to take the same position with the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, and was also advisor on North American affairs for the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel.

Rabbi Abramson lives in Jerusalem with his wife Miriam. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
