This book is a collection of most of the major articles published regarding AIDS and Judaism between the years 1986 and 1995 in Israel, the US, UK and France. Eight scholars provide 11 pieces looking at the most pressing issues and questions relating to AIDS in Jewish thought. Some difficult subjects are broached, but there is a general conclusion that no matter the opinions regarding homosexuality in Halacha, people with AIDS must be supported and helped in the time of their suffering.
